The history of OPTEX is strongly linked to the professional and scientific life of its creator, Jesús María Velásquez-Bermúdez, Founder and Scientific Director of HYPOTHALAMUS Ai.

The two stories feed off each other, as the scientist provides the knowledge to develop OPTEX, and OPTEX generates and ideas results, sometimes unknown, that impact the scientist's vision.

The first part of the presentation is the professional life when OPTEX was not existing, the second, the longest, is the joint life of OPTEX and Jesús.
