'Horrific reports' emerge of private security guards still staffing Vic quarantine facilities

Reports of "private security guards being staffed at these hotel quarantine facilities" demonstrates the ongoing poor management of bio-security by the Andrews government, according to Victorian Shadow Police Minister David Southwick.

“This is an absolute disaster,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Victorians are rightfully angry at the government”.

Mr Southwick said the staffing of some hotel quarantine facilities with private security guards occurred after Premier Andrews announced there would be a three-month investigation to determine into the debacle.

“Daniel Andrews is ducking and weaving more than a prize fighter when it comes to answering the questions in terms of who is responsible for the botched hotel quarantine process”.
