Walks in England: Exploring Thakeham Church and Bells

Today I am in Thakeham, a village and civil parish in the Horsham District of West Sussex, England. The village is situated approximately 18 miles north-east from the county town of Chichester; the parish includes the hamlets of Abingworth and Goose Green.

I am here to meet Cynthia Julian and Tower Captain, Roger Watts who have agreed to show me the beautiful 11th century church and take up into the tower to look at the bells.
