New York born singer/songwriter Allen Hulsey will release his debut solo album 'Whiskey & Blues' on March 14th. The invite only release party/concert will take place at Babylon located in the old Bomonti beer factory. The American musician now resides in Istanbul and says that the record will be initially released only on limited edition green coloured vinyl. He plan to distribute the album in the traditional analog fashion before completing a european tour in spring.

Allen's gritty vocals and signature slide guitar sound are accompanied by cello and harmonica in a stripped down acoustic session that sound like he dropped into your living room for a cameo performance. The songwriting encompasses blues, classic country, and rock and had a classic 70's sound due to the fact that it was recorded live with no overdubs untypical in today's digital culture.

'Whiskey & Blues' was produced and engineered by Çağan Tunalı at Noiseist Studio in Istanbul.
The vinyl was cut at Abbey Road Studio and manufactured in London.
