Looking to expand the battery capacity of your Goal Zero Yeti solar generator but don't want to use the expensive link and tank? Use the 12v car charger cable connected to your favorite lithium ion or LiFePO4 12v battery - Battle Born, Renogy, Expert Power, etc. Any battery works.
A 100ah battery should easily fill a Yeti 11 and using the external battery to trickle charge the Yeti under load stretches your power output even more. I tested this running a full sized refrigerator and was able to run it to 36 hours vs. 14 for the Yeti alone.
