On The Scene: The Catholic Church will lead a mobilization protest on November 23, coinciding with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Christ the King, the final Sunday of the Church’s liturgical calendar. No less than Cardinal David, president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) and bishop of Kalookan, called for public participation in anti-corruption movements. The November 23 mobilization is part of the build-up toward the November 30 Trillion Peso March Movement at the People Power Monument.
