Lithium Battery (ion or metal) Packed in Equipment by Ground Within the U.S.

The regulations of the USDOT/PHMSA require specific packaging and hazard communication for lithium batteries when transported or offered for transport. This video identifies and explains the regulatory requirements for shipping a lithium battery (ion or metal), contained in equipment, transported by highway or rail within the U.S., and subject to the small battery exception at 49 CFR 173.185.
