In his first year at UCLA, Westbrook wasn’t the starting point guard, only averaging nine minutes and 3.4 points per game. His favorite number is 4. It’s what he wore in high school, but he has worn 0 ever since he played his first year at UCLA (Arron Afflalo wore 4). Westbrook was the very last draft pick of the Seattle Supersonics. He’s never late. He is the only active member of the NBA’s 100 triple-double club, joining Oscar Robertson (181), Magic Johnson (138), and Jason Kidd (107). He’s got 104. Westbrook has more triple-doubles than 24 of the other 29 active franchises at all time! He is also the only player in NBA history to record a triple-double against every other team in the NBA (29 teams). Before every game, he calls his parents, his brother, and his wife. Westbrook and his former teammate Kevin Durant once formed one of the best duos in league history. Durant and Westbrook are the only teammates in league history to each have at least 40 points in the same game, multiple times.
