Exploring the James River to Richmond, VA (RVA) - Great Loop Cruising Side Trip

Before we wrap up this season of cruising, we had time for one more adventure - and we opted to divert off the beaten path and head up the James River to explore Richmond, VA.

But we're thwarted upon arrival with flooding that has us waiting at anchor 9-days. Was the wait worth it? Yes!
