Fireworks Basics : MAKING FIREWORKS STARS

Hello everyone, today I will show you how I made fireworks stars.
I made 3 types of effect :
The first one is called "Granite stars". The main ingredient of this effect is zinc powder that you can easely make by grinding a piece of zinc. Zinc produice lot of smoke and a bright blueish/green colored flame while burning.
The second one is a home-made recipe for bright yellow stars. It's based on sodium nitrate as a oxidizer and sulfur/charcoal as a fuel.
Charcoal can be replace by magnalium to give an even brighter flame.
This composition burn with a bright yellow flame and left a small golden tail due to the charcoal.
The last one is the famous Tiger Tail composition. It's based on spruce charcoal and leave a long golden tail in the sky.

All the stars were cut in small cubes (about 5mm) and wet with a mix of alcohol and water.
Dont forget to prime the Granite and Yellow stars to ensure a proper ingnition.
