It's been a minute since we gave a proper update/house tour of everything we've been doing at our hamptons house, interior that is. We've definitely been showing you all the outdoor upgrades as we've been going, but it was time to focus on the inside and do a proper interior home tour/upgrade! We kicked it off by a simple upgrade of our sofa. Out with the cloud couch from Restoration Hardware and in with an absolutely incredible B&B Italia 'Tufty Time' sofa. That one change was a massssssive upgrade and fully changed our living space. From there, the can of worms was opened. We had been wanting to change our dining table chairs for so long, and Hannah found these beautiful Pierre Jeaneret style chairs on Etsy. We ordered them from India and they came in a couple weeks. After that we added some CB2 side tables to the sofa and our space was forever changed for the better.
I then taught myself SketchUp and learned how to render while dreaming of a finished basement. It quickly became a reality and in 4 hours after downloading the program, I had a pretty good grip on what our basement would become. We left to go bring Preston in to the world, and upon returning, well Chris and his team at North Haven Builders basically had finished the project! It was wild! We're obsessed with it and spending so much time down there. More to come on the basement as we finish decorating it, but this was a quick pass. Media Room, Home Gym and Laundry have all been game changers for us and our life out here, which is currently semi permanent with the global situation.
