Tumor microenvironment – TIL isolation and flow cytometry analysis [WEBINAR]
Best practices for isolation of tumor infiltrating leukocytes (TILs) and present an optimized workflow for faster and improved flow analysis https://www.miltenyibiotec.com/applications/cancer/tumor-infiltrating-leukocytes.html
Webinar attendees will learn about innovative tools and solutions to increase quality of data, reduce experimental time, and ease scale-up during TIL analysis using flow cytometry. They will find out about optimized workflows for the isolation and flow cytometric phenotyping of mouse TILs, and methods to reduce biases during TIL analysis.
Recent advances in immuno-oncology research have demonstrated the critical role of immune cells in cancer therapy. A deep understanding of the interactions and phenotypes of immune and tumor cells within the tumor microenvironment is therefore key to developing future immune-based cancer therapy strategies. However, dissociation of solid tumor samples prior to their use in downstream applications, such as immunomagnetic enrichment, flow cytometry, and single-cell sequencing, can be challenging. In addition, tumor cells often cause background signal and introduce bias to the analysis of immune cells, further complicating TIL research.
