Documentary: Хочу быть первым

The film is about people, who lost their feet under various conditions. Currently they use prosthetic devices. However, they are rather active, optimistic and energetic. The fact about the heroes being disabled is unveiled only at the last episode of the film, where they play basketball in wheelchairs.

The film was produced within the framework of Masterskaya na perekrestke (Workshop on the Crossroads) project of Internews Armenia, Internews Georgia and Internews Azerbaijan. The project was targeted at students of journalism faculties and young journalists, producers and script writers aged 18-25 to facilitate their joint production of documentary films to promote humanity and tolerance throughout the South Caucasus.
