How to Change WordPress Passwords (Admin Password)

In this quick tutorial, we’re going to be covering how to change WordPress passwords.
Changing our WordPress password is a straight forward process, but something that every WordPress user needs to know.

Please Note: I’m using WordPress.org in this video, the steps may be different on WordPress.com.

💡 Helpful Tip

Make sure you create a STRONG password for your WordPress website
This will improve website security, and make it less likely our website gets hacked.

Here are few tips for creating a strong password:

1. Make your password at least 12 characters long.
The longer the password, the more secure it tends to be.

2. Include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (!@#$%^&*) in your password.
This makes it more difficult to guess.

3. Don't use common sequences like "123456" or "qwerty" in your password.

4. Avoid using easily guessable information such as your name, birthdate, or common words.

Following these tips will ensure you create a secure password for your WordPress site.
