BMW 5 Series F10 Oil Change & Reset Procedure

In this video, I perform an oil change on a 2011 BMW 528i 5-series (F10) which the car used in this video features a variation of the N52 inline 6 cylinder engine. Being a 2011 528i, this car features a naturally aspirated N52B30 inline-6 motor which 2012+ US model F10 528i models have an inline-4 (N20B20) with a twin scroll turbo.

The process shown is for reference and would be a similar process for other F10/F11 models with the difference being the engine utilized - so check prior for the amount of oil necessary for the oil change along with the appropriate filter you would use.

This 5-Series is the 6th generation known as the F10 which was produced as a sedan, station wagon along with a "GT" model variation worldwide, though only offered in the GT & sedan variations in the United States starting in the 2011 model year until the 2016 model year before being replaced by the 7th generation 5-Series known as the G30.
