Africa by Rental 4x4. Drone Failure, Namibia | 4xOverland

We are in central northern Namibia. In this episode, we traverse the Khowarib Schlucht, a gravel plain leading through a deep gorge with rivers cutting through it, on route to the Kaokoveld. Thick sand slows our progress, but our riverbed camp under the light of the magnificent Milky Way Galaxy, it’s all worth the effort. But the drone proves a disappointment again.

FYI. The drone was tested in four locations over four days, and failed to attain a GPS link. More in the next episode.

We were driving a Toyota Land Cruiser dual-cab 4,2L 6-cyl diesel with standard suspension. The vehicle was on loan from Safari Drive.
