Flood emergency across New South Wales - March 2021 | 7NEWS

A major flooding emergency is underway in New South Wales. The impact is being felt right across Sydney and much of the state. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has now made the Defence Force available, should New South Wales request it.

One house was washed clean off its foundations near Taree and swept away. Most of the town is under water.

It's a dire situation facing many more communities across the Mid North Coast.

In Sydney, the wild weather hit with fury. Dubbed a 'mini-tornado', it tore through Chester Hill without warning ripping roofs off homes and sending trampolines flying through the air.
