Nord Stream 2 is another ambitious project that will take Russian gas to Europe bypassing Ukraine. Today, Sergey Lavrov discussed it at the meeting with his Austrian counterpart Karin Kneissl. The ministers stated that Washington is doing its best to disrupt the construction to keep supplying its liquefied gas, which is much more expensive than the one from Russia, to the European market.
