This was my third pregnancy and now second miscarriage. I contemplated about sharing this story but I personally found myself searching this topic from the moment I suspected I was having an ectopic pregnancy. My hope is to not increase anyones anxiety but more so to inform you about the signs of this life threatening pregnancy. About 1 in 50 pregnancies are Ectopic and unfortunately I was higher risk due to my health history. If you are suspecting you may be experiencing this type of pregnancy seek medical help immediately. Also don't be afraid to ask for HCG Quant testing every two days because this helped the doctors detect mine early. Although they planned to give me the Methotrexate shot to terminate the pregnancy within the a matter of 4 days I had over 1L liter of internal bleeding and had to have surgery instead.
