Glow House member Embreigh Courtlyn has gone viral after trying TikTok’s trending VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot Lip Plumper — and the results were intense.
In her recent TikTok, Embreigh applied the product — which retails for around $10–$12 — to just one side of her lips to show the difference. Within seconds, the treated side turned red, swelled noticeably, and even caused her nose to start running. She later confirmed: “It 100% works.”

The Reedle Shot plumper comes in two versions, Beginner and Expert, though Embreigh didn’t specify which she used. The formula contains hyaluronic acid, jojoba oil, Jimo Root extract, and micro-sized silica particles meant to boost circulation and create a fuller appearance.

But are viral lip plumpers safe for teens?
Most plumpers work by mildly irritating the lips to create temporary swelling, and many contain ingredients that can be too strong for younger, sensitive skin. Experts warn that teens may be more prone to reactions, irritation, or overuse — all of which can damage lip tissue over time.
