Azure VM Security — Network, Disk Encryption & Defender for Servers | AZ-500

Virtual machines are a prime target. This module locks down a vulnerable VM — NSG inbound rules, disk encryption at rest, Microsoft Defender for Servers with just-in-time VM access, and update/patch management.

What you'll learn:
• VM networking — restricting NSG inbound rules (no open RDP/SSH)
• Disk encryption at rest
• Defender for Servers and just-in-time VM access
• Update and patch management to close known vulnerabilities
