Felix Hidalgo St Quiapo the Most Beautiful Street in Manila Before

Felix R. Hidalgo was considered the most lovely street before. Formerly known as Calle San Sebastian during Spanish colonial time. Among the establishments here are Bakerite Bakery (1946), Manuel L. Quezon University, the old Jose Rizal University building, The Nazaren Catholic School, St. John of God Special School, etc. At the end of the street is the very visible Gothic architectural all steel church of the 1800s, the San Sebastian Church at Pasaje del Carmen St. St. Rita College is also beside the church. We hope that the vintage structures in the street would be revived again to make it a worthwhile historical place to see and appreciate. The street is cleared of stalls along the road and is a lot cleaner. Thanks to the cleanup drive of Mayor Isko Moreno.
