Hello World in Javascript - Using the Brackets Editor

In this video, I demonstrate how to set up your Brackets project and code your first Javascript program. You will learn about linking external Javascript files, how to do basic Input and Output in Javascript and how to debug your programs. #Javascript #brackets #helloworld

Learn how to link to an external Javascript file using the script tag. Learn how to use console.log to output to the console window of the browser. You'll also learn how to use window.alert() to output to a dialog window. Finally, we'll also learn how to use the prompt function to collect input from the user.

This is a great video for beginners. I use it as part of my high school programming curriculum and for my AP Computer Science students.
