Bars That Jon Taffer Couldn't Even Rescue

Jon Taffer has constructed a pretty effective recipe for fixing failing bars on his hit show Bar Rescue. Each episode opens on footage of a struggling bar and talking head interviews from its owner and employees, who are shockingly baffled as to why their bar is going under. Taffer then bursts through the front door and admonishes the owner with drill sergeant intensity. After the obligatory push back, the owner finally agrees to the much needed changes. Taffer and staffers redesign, rebrand, and rehabilitate the staff and bar in hopes that it will salvage the business. However, not all of Bar Rescue’s tragic cases can be saved.
