Robotic Mitral Valve Replacement
This 3D medical animation shows the normal anatomy and function of the heart’s mitral valve. Two main problems with the valve, called stenosis and regurgitation, are depicted. The robotic surgical system is shown, along with a brief depiction of how a surgeon uses this system to replace a damaged mitral valve.
