How to Build a Tile Hearth For a Wood Stove Fireplace Cheap and Easy

With our wood stove arriving soon we need to build a hearth out of concrete blocks and tile.

After looking online and finding it way too expensive we decided to build one ourselves.

Items used:
Cement board x 2 @ 10.28 ea = $20.56 lowes
12 x 12 pavers 1.68 ea x 25 = $42 lowes
12 tile @ 1.19ea = $14.28 lowes : City Gray 12-in x 24-in Glazed Porcelain (I believe they're sold in packs now instead of singles, may be more expensive)
mason mix = $5.68 lowes
rubber grout =$8.46 https://amzn.to/2V6eghc
putty knife blade = $9.94 https://amzn.to/2V6cooI
Dewalt tablesaw cutting wheel = $2.99 https://amzn.to/3kKx1jc
Dewalt tile cutter = $22.56 https://amzn.to/38xbBjE

Total Cost = $112.19
Since I film with my phone I have found this to be the best mobile phone holder on the market. https://amzn.to/3DOxQjR
