Video clip from my Odette/Odile, The Swan Lake, 1993

I have been asked if I have any video from my classical career. This short clip is from early 90's .. from really long time ago. It is a scene from "The Swan Lake", second act. I danced this dual role of Odette/Odile when I was 22 years old. And this happened in the inauguration of the new Opera House in Helsinki.

Time flies ... now I mostly work with Asian and Japanese traditions and cultural environments which have quite a distance comparing classical Western ballet and dance.

Video is a live recording by Finnish national broadcasting company YLE from date December 1st 1993. My partner was Antti Honkanen. Conductor Eri Klas. Choreography Bourmeister and music - of course - Pjotr Tšaikovski.
