CopilotKit Just Raised $27M - Here's What it is!

CopilotKit announced its Series A funding, and in this video we take a quick look at what CopilotKit is, how it helps developers ship AI features, and how its open source agent-to-UI protocol helps standardize communication between agents and client-side applications.

You’ll see the basic CopilotKit setup flow: choosing an AI backend or agent framework, wiring up the runtime on the server, connecting the client provider, rendering a Copilot sidebar, and using tool rendering to display UI from agent actions.

The main demo walks through the new CopilotKit VS Code extension, which lets you test AI generation, preview components, inspect available tools, talk to an LLM, save and replay conversations as fixtures, explore generative UI, browse A2UI components, and inspect runtime events — all without leaving your editor.
