Drawing TikTok With Pure Mathematics (is that easy?) 🧠✨ #maths #satisfying #asmr #code

Can pure mathematical formulas replicate the design of the world's most popular video platform? In this creative coding project, I engineered an interactive vector engine in JavaScript to draw the TikTok logo entirely from scratch using squircle frameworks, parametric equations, polar coordinates, and acoustic sonification.

To create a deeply meditative ASMR soundscape, the drawing path translates visual data into auditory coordinates by mapping the line nodes directly onto a harmonious E-flat Major Pentatonic Scale (Eb3 to C6). Every line segment update calculation avoids sharp audio transients by using soft sine waves passing through a heavy spatial processing environment.

Mathematical Phase Diagnostics:

THE SQUIRCLE FRAMEWORK (0% to 30% Progress): The code charts the outer bounds using a superellipse equation variant (also known as a Lamé curve): |x/a|^4.2 + |y/b|^4.2 = 1. The exponent variable is configured to 4.2 to establish the perfect hyper-rounded boundary container.

THE NOTE CIRCLE ARC (30% to 58% Progress): The vector coordinate pointer drops inside to begin rendering the lower circular note shape. It traces the curved glyph outline utilizing classic polar circular matrices: r = a, θ ∈ [0, 3π/2].

THE VERTICAL STEM MATRIX (58% to 78% Progress): The path hands off logic to linear cartesian coordinates: x = k, y ∈ [y0, y1]. The program draws the parallel vertical lines that form the center backbone stem of the brand icon.

THE FLAG CORNER CURVE (78% to 100% Progress): The path wraps up by tracing the upper flag extension using angular trigonometric functions: r = h, θ ∈ [π, π/2], plotting a precise quarter-arc sweep.

Acoustic Architecture Stack:

Fundamental Tracking Sine Wave: Generates primary melodic frequency tracking across the 15-note pentatonic matrix.

Modal Node Chime: Triggers a secondary triangle wave envelope to emit high-octave geometric chime bells whenever a critical vertex boundary transition is met.

Dual Space Processors: A custom synchronized delay matrix combined with a massive 6-second room matrix reverb gives the entire code block an ethereal, reflective atmosphere.
