And all thanks to the incident that brought him down the chain of events with Fedor Emelianenko in 2014, when Valentin was forced to leave his native Lugansk and move to Crimea due to hostilities. Emelianenko invited the young heavyweight to his team and he began to crush his rivals one by one in various world arenas.
