St. Elizabeth Airport to Get UK£500 Million Boost? Black River City on the Horizon!

Overview
The government’s ambition to double Jamaica’s tourism industry by attracting an extra 4 million visitors annually calls for innovative infrastructure projects. One key proposal is to allocate 10% of a UK£5billion loan to build an airport in or near Black River. This new facility would not only improve access for tourists but also stimulate economic growth across regions outside the traditional hotspots.

Employing 300K Jamaicans, in permanent full time jobs. And earning An Extra US$10billion each year for the country’s GDP.
 
SOME KEY FEATURES OF THE “US$30 BILLION REPATRIATION FUNDING PROGRAM” ARE: 
A. 120 Hotels To Be Built Across Jamaica, Especially Near Areas With High Unemployment Rates. Earning An Extra US$10billion each year for Jamaica.
B. Providing 300,000 permanent full time jobs, for low skilled citizens in rural parishes across Jamaica.
C) 300,000 affordable housing units to be built over the next 10 years (2025 to 2034). 30,000 to be built each year.
D) Franchises for the 120 large all inclusive hotels will be given to FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), over the next 1 to 5 years (2025 to 2029).
E) Each hotel costing approx. US$250 million to build, totalling US$30billion. All paid for by the FDI,s Repatriation money coming back to Jamaica. 
F) Minimum wage to be increased by 15% each year, reaching US$200 per week in the next 5 years.
G) Jamaica Agriculture need to start growing by 20% every year, for the next 10 years and beyond. This is to create stability in the country as the tourism industry start growing by 20% every year, for the next 10 years.
