A Promised Rose-Colored Conclusion - The Subtext of Hyouka's Finale

Hyouka's final episode has a mixed reception...but I think it's as close to a perfect ending as one could have hoped for Hyouka. The final episode that we'll be covering in the Rose-Colored Dissection, The Doll Who Took a Detour is in so many ways the conclusion this series deserved - and what its subtext says if you take a bit of a deeper look under the hood.

I'll be the first to acknowledge that I didn't really get into a few of the social elements at play here - I think I'll be tackling that in a Misc. Muse in the future along with a few other narrative threads I dropped for the sake of pacing and narrative flourish.
