In this video, Leapmotor B10 Review – This Electric SUV Makes A Lot Of Sense, I take a full look at the new Leapmotor B10, an affordable C-segment electric SUV that could become a very interesting option for the UK and European market. This Leapmotor B10 review covers the exterior, interior, infotainment, practicality, driving impressions, efficiency and charging.

The Leapmotor B10 comes with a 67.1 kWh LFP battery offering a WLTP range of up to around 270 miles (434 km), and efficiency is actually one of the most important things in this car. The Leapmotor B10 uses rear-wheel drive with a 160 kW (218 PS) motor, which is more than enough for a family electric SUV and makes the car feel smooth and comfortable to drive.

Charging is also very good. The Leapmotor B10 supports fast DC charging and can charge from 30–80% in around 20 minutes, and in real conditions it can actually charge faster than the official claimed charging speed. The car also comes with an 11 kW AC on-board charger for home charging.

Inside, the Leapmotor B10 features a large 14.6-inch central display with the Snapdragon 8155 chip, an 8.8-inch driver display, 360-degree camera and V2L (vehicle-to-load) capability. The car is also very practical with a flexible boot and electric tailgate, which makes it a good electric family car.

Very importantly, the Leapmotor B10 comes with a heat pump as standard to improve efficiency and winter range, and the car supports over-the-air software updates, meaning the system and features can improve over time.
Overall, the Leapmotor B10 looks like a very interesting affordable electric SUV and potentially one of the best value for money electric family cars coming from China.
