Why Postmoderns Train—Not Educate—Activists | Open College No. 15 | Stephen Hicks

Postmodernism has transformed education from the search for truth and the accumulation of knowledge to the focus on social activism. Dr. Hicks examines this school of thought and its affect on educational techniques.

For some time, Professor Hicks has been doing a podcast on a wide range of contemporary topics. It has been available on a number of other platforms. It is now being offered on YouTube as well. Its mission is to “ to explain the chaos.”

Stephen R. C. Hicks, Ph.D., is Professor of Philosophy at Rockford University, USA, and has had visiting positions at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., University of Kasimir the Great in Poland, Oxford University’s Harris Manchester College in England, and Jagiellonian University in Poland.
