In this lecture, we will cover Class 7 history NCERT chapter 3. "The Delhi Sultans" (part 2)

In part 2 of chapter 3, we will study about the expansion strategy of the Delhi Sultanate. We will understand how during the early rule, the Delhi Sultans faced many problems like losing control over garrison towns of Bengal and Sind, and facing Mongol invasions from Afghanistan. We'll have a look at the consolidation of the empire by Ghiyasuddin Balban, and the later expansion strategies of Alauddin Khilji and Muhammad bin Tughluq. Then, we will see some interesting knowledge bites under our 'competitive shirts', which are especially beneficial for aspirants of competitive exams.
