Brendan Rodgers Reveals Messages to Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp & Jordan Henderson

Ex-Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has sent a heartfelt message of congratulations to his successor in the Anfield dugout.

Jurgen Klopp replaced the now Leicester City manager in October 2015 when Rodgers was sacked.

The Northern Irishman had gone close to ending Liverpool's Premier League title drought in 2014 but narrowly missed out to Manchester City that year, before things began to unravel.

But he heaped praise on Klopp, as well as Jordan Henderson, the man he named as Liverpool captain to replace the outgoing Steven Gerrard in July 2015, after leading the Reds to championship glory.
