My TOKYO, Japan Orientation Day - First Impressions and Surprises!

Hi everyone! In this episode, I’m back in the iconic capital of Japan — Tokyo! This is my second visit to the city, after first exploring it in 2017, but a lot has changed since then. Returning to such a vibrant city always brings new surprises and a bit of culture shock, which is why I decided to dedicate a whole day to orientation.

Join me as I walk from my hotel in the Kinschiko area to the breathtaking Tokyo Skytree, the world’s third tallest structure. Along the way, I share my fresh impressions of the city and compare them to my last visit. I’ll also take you through a stop at Kinschiko Station to explore nearby shops, restaurants, and food outlets, and even update my Pasmo card (I'll show you how it’s done!).

At the Tokyo Skytree, I’m amazed by the sheer size of this iconic landmark, and I’ll take you inside the mall on-site, which really highlights the culture shock of Tokyo. Afterward, I stroll along the river, take in the stunning cherry blossom trees, and explore the city’s sporty vibe.

To wrap up the day, I hop on a local train to Asakusa for a sneak peek at the upcoming vlog, featuring Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Shopping Street.
