Nagant revolver, power of ammo

This is a description of what military ammo does to a phone book. I should add, the 38 revolver used in comparison had a 4" barrel (so 1/2" difference in favor of the Nagant), and its ammo: semi wad cutters (as in the Nagant) but at 158 grain--considerably heavier. The speed was quite a bit slower--38 special bullet travels at about 800 fps, the Nagant somewhere around 950 fps. So, not a fair comparison at all, just something I added for interest.
