Why Does God Allow Suffering and Evil?
It’s one of the hardest questions people of faith ask: if God is all-loving and all-powerful, why does He allow suffering in the world? For centuries, believers have wrestled with this mystery — and while the Bible gives us glimpses of the answer, it also invites us into compassion, trust, and hope.
In this video, we look at suffering through the lens of Scripture and the heart of Christ. God allows humanity the freedom to choose — and with that freedom comes both love and pain. Yet He also promises redemption: one day there will be no more tears, no more death, and no more sorrow (Revelation 21:4).
Jesus Himself wept at Lazarus’ tomb, showing us that God is not distant from our pain — He grieves with us. The story of suffering is not about a silent God, but a Savior who entered our broken world to overcome violence, injustice, and death through love.
If you’ve ever asked why God allows pain or wondered where He is in your struggles, this message is for you. May it remind you that God’s heart breaks for the suffering and that He calls His people to bring light and compassion to a hurting world.
