Castle 2x03 Moment (Inventing The Girl) - Castle and Beckett go to New York Fashion Week in their investigation of the case. There Rick meets an old acquaintance who happens to have a copy of the Cosmopolitan magazine which features Richard Castle's new book Heat Wave. In the precinct RC notices that Kate is upset. And asks “Why are you upset” KB denies it and says “I'm not upset!” . Later that day, he finally finds out whys she is upset: she hates that he let the magazine reporter read the book before her. “I'm the inspiration, I should be reading it first before a reporter.” RC says “Why didn't you ask?” Kate counters with “Why didn't it occur to you?” RC after a pause says “You'll have it (the book) by tomorrow.” KB has this satisfied smile on her face after Rick left.
