Introducing Lambeth Health Determinants Research Collaboration

Lambeth Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) is part of a national programme funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).

Our role is to help Lambeth Council, its partners and communities, use research and evidence to reduce health inequalities - the unjust, avoidable differences in health status or access to health resources which exist between different population groups. Our goal is a healthier, fairer Lambeth.

We do this by working with council teams, communities, academic partners and local organisations to understand and act on the factors that shape people’s health and wellbeing across the borough, including housing, income, education and experiences of discrimination.
