Hayti, Missouri Tornado | Extremely Dangerous Nocturnal EF4 | December 10, 2021 • Full Documentary

Today, we go after a dangerous setup regarding weather. The day would start off with the SPC advising of a 15 percent hatch risk of significant tornadoes EF2 and above. We head to our target area and get on i55 due to the North to South paths of travel and many state highways to safely navigate the tornadoes. After arriving at the MO boot heel, a supercell quickly appeared on radar and became tornado warned near Jonesboro AR. We then quickly head towards the developing threat. Shortly after, it becomes confirmed as a large and extremely dangerous tornado and would ultimately trigger many tornado emergencies as well as birthing two extremely violent EF4s. I remained in Steele in a deadly standoff waiting for it to show itself, however at some point I no longer felt Steele MO was a safe observation post and headed north via i55 and remained on the outskirts of Hayti. I assisted many panicked citizens on and off camera and tried my best to remain in the area to assist any MCI that may arise. (I am a former NYS EMT)
Over 120 confirmed tornadoes would touch down across the advised area, carving many paths of destruction and claiming many lives.
This is my video documentation of the events as they unfolded on that extremely tragic day. Despite never getting what I considered to be photogenic footage regarding tornadoes, I was still very close at times. However, at the end of the day, safety for the public and myself take precedence.

**UPDATED 12/16/21 This supercell fostered x2 EF4 in quick secession. After the FIRST EF4 lifted, a SECOND quickly touched down, reaching EF4 status shortly after. However, how the facts are being presented to me is that one of the EF4s touched down and impacted Honersville, MO, and was rather close to my location. Despite only getting a few glimpses of what appeared to be a large dangerous tornado, I was never able to get a clear exact visual of it (partly due to my approach, regardless, it's still inconceivable to think an EF4 wedge could be that deceptive and hidden.
This is my account of tracking the Quad State Supercell that would birth x2 EF4s. I tracked this supercell from Steele to Hayti MO (i55 & state roads) as it traveled towards and eventually impacted Mayfield, KY as a deadly EF4 as well as several other populated communities causing catastrophic damage and many fatalities/injuries along it's lengthy path.**
