Today we will be demonstrating the Baumfolder 714XLT tabletop folder. We will be using a standard 8.5 x 11 - 20 pound copier paper and will be letter folding it. I have went ahead and adjusted pan 1 and pan 2 to accommodate the letter folder of the 8.5 x 11. I got the adjustments that I needed from the chart provided on the exit table of the BAUM 714XLT. Here it shows you exactly what positions you need to move the 1st and 2nd pan into, to allow for the fold you want to achieve using the paper you have.

There is a gap set on the top that allows the paper to flow through under it. There is a variable speed control, count display, then you have a switch that turns on the rollers, then you have a switch that turns on the pump that allow the sheet to be fed through. Rollers are on….

The finished product comes out shingled on the exit conveyor/tray, perfect for your standard letter fold.
