20 Billion Tonnes of Lunar Regolith on One Plateau

In this video, I propose turning Mons Mouton, a massive 7,850 km² plateau near the lunar South Pole, into a commercial powerhouse for lunar startups.

By shallow mining just 1% of the plateau to 100 m depth, we could liberate 12–22 billion tonnes of regolith feedstock, enough aluminium, oxygen, argon, and construction material to bootstrap roads, tunnels, solar farms, foundries, rail networks, and more.
