Christ The King~World's Tallest Statue of Christ

This beautiful statue caught my attention when I was researching for Rio's 'Christ the Redeemer' slide show. I knew then that I would be doing a slide show featuring 'Christ the King' in Poland.

What I DIDN'T know was that although the statue appears to be very popular in Europe, precious little about it has been documented and much of what has been documented is in languages other than English.

I've gathered as much information about this magnificent statue as I could find and included it in the show.

Because of the information slides you might need to temporarily stop the show for reading purposes.
