☆ finally got around to trying this method of drying flowers the second time around this time with ORANGE NON TOXIC SILICA GEL SAND. 🧡🧡🧡

☆ bonus clip! in this video i will answer the question: can you reuse silica gel sand? yes you can! simply by reheating the the used sand in the oven, on a pan or in the microwave. be sure to use orange indicators though, the blue ones are toxic. 😱

NOTE: please follow the manufacturer's instructions! this is only a craft vlog, with me sharing my experience with the silica gel sand i purchased. i am not an expert at this. 😅

☆ another question is, how many times can you reuse the sand? according to TD, their customers reuse it upto 10x and their silica gel sand can have a shelf life of upto 10 years!

☆ follow up, can you use silica gel packets in shoe/bag boxes? you probably can as they are the same, but these pellets are larger and will leave dents on your dried flowers. the finer sand will yield a better shaped flower.
