TRIP REPORT | Biggest Shame Ever! Unacceptable!! | CONDOR B757 | Dusseldorf to Mallorca

Condor Trip Report flying from Dusseldorf to Mallorca onboard one of the Condor Boeing 757-300W on a lovely August early morning.

This was the worst experience I've ever had on an airline (on the ground). That's the best way to say it in one line. I'm talking about the experience at the airport: it was just terrible. Have you ever seen a 300-400 meters queue for checking your bags? I saw it today for the very first time!!

More details and full explanation on the video, but the bullet points are as follows:
- Due to German regulation (or Condor procedure) every passenger must get the boarding card at the check-in counter. No exceptions.
- 8 Condor flights departed within 30 min that morning from Dusseldorf.
- Flights were fully booked and operated by B767, B757, and A321. So are talking about thousands of passengers arriving at the counters at the same time.
- There were ONLY 6 Condor operative check-in counters.

I think that by taking those 4 points together you can imagine the result. The biggest chaos I've ever seen in more than 800 flights.

Apart from that, the flight was very comfortable onboard the Condor B757. The views during all the flight were stunning and the catering (pre-ordered breakfast) was at a good standard. However, the initial experience made me think seriously to fly with Condor ever again. I will probably do it again, as I love Condor and I love their Boeing 757, but it will take me some time.

Once again, I would like to emphasize that the bad experience was during all the check-in process, collecting the boarding card, in my particular case. After that, all the flight was amazing and really enjoyable, with an amazing crew and onboard service. But what happened before boarding at Dusseldorf airport was beyond the limits.
