The Philosophy of Consciousness

Today, I am joined by Recoded Zaphod, an agnostic atheist friend of mine, and we discuss the philosophy of consciousness. I happen to be a theist, so together we can eliminate biases. This is part two of our consciousness debate. In the talk, we discuss some main points including the definition of consciousness, what a soul is, how the soul is related to consciousness, how suffering relates to consciousness, and the requirements of consciousness. This leads to questions such as: are plants conscious, are animals conscious, and could computers be conscious?
