PATRONAGE: Sick people, Naples, against sickness, against sexual temptation, against bodily ills

Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for giving us St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi as an example of holiness. Please hear all of the petitions she brings to You on our behalf.

St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi, you had a very close relationship with Jesus from the time you were young. As a child, you dedicated yourself to Him, even choosing to forsake marriage out of love for Him. You continued to pursue intimacy with God for the rest of your life.

We ask you to bring our petitions before the throne of God, and we particularly ask today that you pray that we may grow in true intimacy with Jesus.

Pray for us, that we may always do all we can to advance in holiness and virtue. Pray that we may dedicate ourselves more fully to God each day of our lives.Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for giving us St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi as an example of holiness. Please hear all of the petitions she brings to You on our behalf.

St. Mary Magdalen de Pazzi, you chose to dedicate your life fully to God when you were a child by making a vow of virginity. You later answered God’s call to enter the Carmelite religious order. You continued to serve God faithfully as a Carmelite for the rest of your life.

We ask you to bring our petitions before the throne of God, and we particularly ask today that you pray that God may inspire more men and women to serve Him in the religious and priestly vocations.

Pray for us, that we may always be eager to answer God’s call in our lives. Pray that we may faithfully serve God in whatever ways He calls us to.

And we especially ask in this novena for (mention your intentions here).

Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be

I adore Thee, O Eternal Father and I thank Thee on the part of Thy beloved Daughter, Mary Magdalene, for all the graces by Thee granted her, and in particular for having chosen her as the resting-place of Thy Divine Being, in that manner, and as far as mortal creatures can become capable thereof and for having promised her to grant her whatsoever she would ask Thee, saying to her : “Bride of My Only-Begotten Word, ask of Me what thou wilt.”
I beg of Thee, for the sake of her merits and prayers, to infuse into my heart a true humility and conformity to Thy Divine Will.

V. Pray for us, O St. Mary Magdalene.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ

Let us pray:
O God, the lover of virginity, Who didst inflame the breast of Saint Mary Magdalene with the fire of Thy love, and enriched it with heavenly gifts, grant that we may imitate her by our purity and charity, whose commemoration we devoutly make and whose festival we celebrate. Through our Lord, Jesus Christ Thy Son who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.
