Woodbury Common Premium Outlets has the largest collection of designer outlets in the world, located in Central Valley, New York and only a 1 hour direct bus ride from Manhattan costing around $30 return. The major shopping mecca is owned by Premium Outlets, a subsidiary of Simon Property Group, and takes its name from the town in which it is located. It was opened in late 1985 then expanded in 1993 and 1998 and now has 220 stores occupying more than 72,000 square meters and is one of the largest contiguous outlet centers in the world.
